Bob Finch July 31, 2010 NARAM 52 - Pueblo, Colorado 75 mm Stealth Beta (heavily modified) CTI M1230 motor  Bob used a non-marketed (beta-level) kit of parts produced by Art Applewhite and modified it to encompass the "active recovery" issues presented by the NAR (National Association of Rocketry's Board of Trustees and administered by the NAR L3CC (Level 3 Certification Committee). These mods also added strength to the 1/2 inch foam board frame and added a hub-spoke-wheel plywood support system to the motor mount to prevent motor wallowing caused by the the spinning of the airframe in this early prototype design. |
