April 2, 2016 Launch Report
What great weather we had today! We had
a bunch of TARC qualification flights and at least 5
certification flights. Thanks to everyone that came
out to fly.

I didn't fly a
rocket today, but I did put up the drone to go search
for a wayward TARC rocket. Wouldn't you know that
as soon as I got airborne, they found it. Dang.
But, I did get a few shots of the launch and the
Apache Pass site.

first off I'm burnt was expecting the
wind to be a little high for my canopy and it
wasn't and I got burnt.
2nd I lost that donation rocket do to
the long grass which got me on edge about fling
anything small but my L2 cert went great and I'm
ready for more but I don't want to go to much
higher with out tracking. the L2 was simmed at
2971 so I said 3000 and it went 2947 so very good
sim. met the owner and he was very nice and I felt
bad for him about his back with the accident.
