NOTE: This design occasionally
displays anomalous flight characteristics at the
end of the boost phase. The rocket may
tumble rapidly while still under power but
continues in an upward direction. This is
more likely to happen under very windy
conditions. It is not dangerous and does not
affect the safety of the flight or its
recovery. This a feature and not a bug.

All these kits include stainless steel
engine hooks for positive motor retention and
quick launch preparation. They ascend rapidly on
a column of smoke. They descend slowly, tumbling end
over end, and land softly. There is no
complicated recovery system to fail. These kits are
easy to build using scissors, a craft knife and white
glue. With their high visibility and dramatic ascent
and recovery, they are real crowd pleasers.
